3D World magazine issue #82 is out. I wrote the Showreel article on Alexis Van der Haeghe’s animated short film “Stiltwalkers”. This is a beautiful-looking film, and all the more impressive that Alexis made it himself over the course of 7 months.

Civ IV: Warlords – OUT THE DOOR!
Well… after about 7 months and another BI-III-IIIIG PUSHHHH… we’ve released the first expansion pack for Civilization IV. It’s called Warlords, and it’s out the door and on the shelves. I was Art Lead on this title, just like I was on its predecessor Civilization IV, and I must say… I’m tired.
Now, I go sleep.
3D World article – My Date from Hell
3D World magazine issue #81 is out. I wrote the Showreel article on a German animated short film called “My Date from Hell”. It was a student project from the Filmakademie. Scary, these student films in some cases are getting to be better than stuff I see from seasoned pros.
Sam Noir, Samurai Detective
My friends over at PandaXpress! have gotten themselves a nice deal to do a series of comics, and they can finally tell you about it.
Sam Noir: Samurai Detective… you gotta see it to believe it.
In fact, PandaXpress! in general re-awakens my fondness for (my belief in?) comics as an art form. High praise? Mebbe. But I like it, so there.
