The much-talked about AnimWatch Video Player is finally up and running. After something of a French Vacation (I’ve basically taken the summer off from working with the site) I forced myself to tie up the loose technical ends on this player and its integration into AnimWatch.com. So now, you can read about movies at AnimWatch, and then watch them right there at the site. Pop by the AnimWatch Theatre and have a look.

And if I have an hour or two today, I’ll get the long-delayed next episode of the AnimWatch Podcast out the door.

    Nice layout.

That “Much more!” challenge was cute. Some of the people had some good stuff and some of it was uhm… ok. ;P I liked the lollypop one… mostly cause it was just silly but it was one of the more skillful attempts at the dialogue.

So… crunch time over or are you still painting avvies by hand. ;)

Still in crunch, but thought I should take some time out to take care of AnimWatch lest it die off. Eeee!

Yeah, the challenges are pretty uneven. You can get some really brilliant stuff, but then there’s the other stuff. I like it when the guys get creative…

    Thanks for the note.

I noticed you used the “Jeff” skit from your Wombly thing you did with Bill for one of the challenges. I recognized it right off the bat. Have it on my MP3 player actually under Misc. I like listening to it off and on. It makes me laugh. :D

You guys should have done something with that. I think it could have sold for work places as a “how not to deal with your employees.” :D

We wanted to do something with it, and we tried, but never really got any traction. At the same time, the BBC’s Office came along and did what were were trying to do, but only much, much better. And funny.
