But what to do… what to do? I’ve been working on three animated adverts for a Swiss company, and I’ve found it exhilarating to write, build, and see the films develop so quickly. It makes me think (and this is how I get into trouble) that maybe, just maybe, if I keep a film simple enough… I could get it done. Myself. In my spare time.
The trick will be limiting what I’m trying to do. But I can do that! I do it all the time at my day job. I do it all the time in my extracurricular jobs (see animated adverts, Swiss). I think digging this film idea out of its mental mothballs and getting onto it in my spare time would be quite the kick.
And so… stay tuned to this blog for all the latest information on my film. I was going to call this series The Adventures of Ace Tripline until I started really thinking about the hero. Turns out he’s not really what I’d call an Ace. So let’s call this series Moon Town instead.
Yeah. I like the sound of that.

You ought to listen to the old X-Minus 1 radio show. That thing rocks for sci fi stories. Makes you just laugh at some of the stuff but awe at the great stories they recreate. The old days when radio was the main media.
Still.. there’s always the old flash gordon and rocketman serials. Those things rock!!!

Lehsa – those X-Minus 1 stories are so great, like a love note from a more innocent time to our time.
Sardtok – I’m glad to have you come by. Good luck on the paper. Between the novel, Moon Town, my burgeoning freelance career and sleep, all I can say is sleep is losing the battle. Mid Feb, my ads are done and my life should be less complicated. At least I don’t have AnimWatch in there fighting for its share!
Thanks for coming by and thank you for dropping me a line to let me know someone’s reading.
hey you can hear X-minus 1 sometimes and also Dimension X (same series, different name) on Radio Antioch online. Just google “radio antioch” and you’ll get a “mac in mind” page with the channel. Some guy runs his own station out of Illinois and he plays all sorts of radio shows from scifi to horror.
