Came across some really beautiful and charming stuff by a Montreal artist who, so far as I know, goes only by the one name Boutain. Lots of great stuff at his BLOG, but I am particularly fond of this set of six black and white designs. They’re so funky and cartoony, yet very beautiful. One gets the feeling they were designs for levels in some game that never took place? I dunno. But I love them anyhow.

Aaaaaactually… that’s where I found him. Thanks for the sweet artwork. Ladies and gentlemen, Marc works with me, and keeps a really nice archive of great artwork. We have our screensavers on Slideshow, and set to dig through that archive and display that eyecandy. Occasionally I see something like Boutain’s incredible landscape design, and I have to post it. The bad news is that Marc doesn’t really learn anything new here at the Steve Ogden Blog and Show, but on the other hand, it’s free, so that has to count for something.
