Thanks, Jase. I dunno. I am leaving the remote possibility open that I will work on Croaker’s Gorge some time in the future, but in a different format. Really, that 4 panel gag-a-day format is just frustrating for me.
But at the same time, I am getting deeper and deeper into graphic novels, and that seems to be the format I am most comfortable working in. I feel I can tell better stories more efficiently and faster in that format than the other formats I’ve worked in – writing, animation, comic strips.
So, I would say it’s unlikely I’d do another series like Croaker’s, at least in any way you’d recognize it, and instead, I’ll focus on my graphic novel development. I wish I had come to this conclusion a long time ago.
