The Legend of Bill comic #1 is now shipping! Both artist’s editions ($11.99, includes a signed sketch card) and regular editions ($5.99) are available. Both editions include dozens of Legend of Bill strips, plus a 5 page comic (which I co-wrote with David Reddick, was illustrated by the talented Eldon Cowgur and colored by Josh Ulrich) and a short story I wrote and illustrated, plus guest strips, pin-up art, and gems from the sketchbook. If you ordered yours, it should be on the way!

At long last, Legend of Bill is almost out. David Reddick has a great preview of some of the fun stuff he’s including. I’m proud to say I had a hand in not one, but two extra stories in this one, and even did the art on one of ‘em. Stop by Legend of Bill and have a look, and maybe snag yourself a copy!

Yup. LoB #1 is quickly winding its way to the Th3rd World store, and I thought it was high time I gave you a little sneak peek of what I did on that. As a part of the Extras enticing one to purchase Legend of Bill #1, I wrote a 5-page comic that was pencilled by a Very Special Top Secret Artist, inked by David Reddick, and colored by another Very Special Top Secret Artist. It’s the way comics used to be made before we got all do-it-yourself-ish. But I also wrote a 3 page short story, you know, in prose. Actual text. And I illustrated it with a few spot illos. See above for a sneak peek.

There are two new comic collections are now available for your comic buying and reading pleasure:

First, David Reddick’s first Legend of Bill comic is taking pre-orders. This comic will include a bunch of Legend of Bill strips, and a few extras, such as a 5-page comic-book format story which I wrote, as well as a three page short story I wrote and illustrated. These stories are not available elsewhere, so I would encourage you to snag yourself a copy and see what we’ve been up to lately.

Second, Brock Heasley’s first SuperFogey’s bonus-sized comic collection is taking orders. Lots and lots of extras in this bonus collection. The list reads like a list of extras on a collector’s edition DVD. Nice! In somewhat related news, I’ll actually be collaborating with Brock on a very cool upcoming comic. We’ll be making an announcement in a few days.

Another day, another Legend of Bill cartoon. I inked this one, and the talented Josh Ulrich colored it up nice. Looks like I will be occasionally inking this strip and I may be co-writing with the strip’s extremely talented and far-too-busy creator, David Reddick.
