Croaker’s Gorge is a strip I’ve been working on in one format or another since the early 1990s. I’ve tried to get it syndicated, I’ve tried to get it published, I’ve tried to do it as a webcomic. None of those things has succeeded particularly well, and I believe it’s a blessing in disguise because truthfully I have never really liked it in any of its incarnations to this point. I’ve changed the format of the strip to a larger block where I have the freedom to do more involved dialog and more longer jokes with a bigger payoff. I think I like it better.
