For a while, I had removed all my “classic” Croaker’s Gorge strips. In fiddling around with the formatting of the site today, I added them back in. You can once again begin reading from the very start of the epic Croaker’s Gorge saga! YEAH!

Ever get that feeling that you’re stuck in a rut?

Yeah, so it’s probably a cheap trick appealing to the Populist Outrage, but many times leafing through the financial section of the paper these days, I get all rage-y. Better to joke about it, I guess, then to suffer a heart attack over it.

I suppose this is a “reboot” of sorts, to use the current Hollywood vernacular. I threatened one day to bring Croaker’s Gorge back in a different format. This is what the new format looks like.

Minor character design tweaks for various reasons that mainly had to do with the reasons I hated drawing the strip in its old format. *shrug* I like drawing it better now.

And now you’re probably going to ask me how frequently it will update. I don’t know. I’m thinking monthly.

Well, that’s the end of the VideoGame Overdose storyline. And just in time – I think it was time to be done with it.

Speaking of being done with things, I’m done with Croaker’s Gorge for a bit, maybe forever. If I ever come back to the strip – and never say never – it will look much different. I find the four-panel humor format to be limiting. I’d like the chance to tell some longer jokes, redesign the characters, and so forth.
